Fractional Chief Operating Officer

As a fractional Chief Operating Officer, I’ll dig deeply into people and processes. We’ll create leadership development tracks for key personnel, create an employee development framework that will multiply the return on every salary dollar invested, and align every employee around the organization’s priorities. I’ll examine policies, processes, and vendors with the two-fold goal of maximizing value creation and improving employee and customer experience.
-
Why This Service – Every problem lands on your desk. In your absence, people are stuck when there’s the slightest hiccup in daily operations. Employee performance is flat but employees still expect annual salary increases. Turnover is high.
-
The Likely Transformation – We’ll install a framework that prioritizes the eight core organizational disciplines. Employees will be equipped to act independently, but making decisions the way you would make them. Processes will be prioritized so that customer experience and product quality is elevated. Everyone in the organization will know what’s important and how to track it.
-
The Return on Investment – Maybe the biggest change will be your ability to escape the “tyranny of the urgent” and have time to focus on organizational health and long-term growth. Every employee will have a customized development plan that will align their growth with the growth of the organization. Because customer experience improves, retention improves, driving both top and bottom line revenue. The focus on process improvement will position the organization for 10X growth. The ROI for the engagement – 5X to 10X.
-
The Investment – Depending on the size and complexity of the organization, I’ll spend 1 or 2 half-days per week in your office over the course of 6 months. We’ll supplement with online meetings and email because everyone involved, including me, will have homework to be completed during the time I’m not onsite. $6000 – $12000 per month.
